It has stood for years at the edge of downtown like a blight on the conscience of San Antonio, reminding city officials and the community constantly that something must be done. But, finding the money to proceed with a redevelopment project has proven difficult, until recently.
River North will be entirely overhauled in a new project that aims to revamp the area and make it an integral part of the life and culture of the city’s core, rather than a ghost town that people avoided at all costs.
