Tragic death of boy born with two heads

A boy who was born on Monday this week with two heads, has died tragically in south western Bangladesh.
The boy, Kiron, made worldwide news after being born by a Cesarean operation. He weighed 5.5 kilogrammes at birth and was completely normal except he had two heads.
Tragically his parents were so poor they could not afford for the boy to continue being hospitalised while doctors studied him and reviewed various alternative treatments.
A doctor at the hospital said the parents were advised not to take their boy home, however for financial reasons they felt compelled to do so.
The boy died late on Wednesday after experiencing respiratory problems and developing a fever.
"We wanted to refer him to a hospital in Dhaka but the family was so poor that they could not afford to take him there, so they took him home where he died," paediatrician KS Alam told AFP.
"It was a very unusual case. The boy had one body but two complete heads."
